Flora Pop!

I had an impromptu photo shoot with Baylee of Baylee Jo Designs and her friend Victoria who runs Flora Pop when I was back home for the summer.
Victoria designs floral pieces for the local bar downtown and also does these amazing head pieces and anything else you can imagine for wedding, events or just for yourself! We decided to take some pictures around the yard and couldn't love more how they turned out!
Baylee also took my favorite picture for my about page. Here are some others too from that same shoot that I love.

We drove threw Utah on the way down home and on the way back up to Montana (which is when we spent most of our time here). We stayed with my sisters who have a roommate dog: Izze! The second tome around we visited with friends and family and my cousin got married (which I designed the invitations for)! It really was such a great time and celebration. Wesley loved getting to spend time with Izze and it was so nice of Scott to get to spend a couple hours with my family as their scheduled overlapped.

While I left Wesley back home with my family, I went to visit Scott for the first time in six weeks in between my time home in Vegas. He was busy with work every day so I got to spend my days with Amy and Jonah which was so much fun! We watched lots of movies, had a hair cut (which was only possible with a movie, mommy and drinking from a spray bottle over the course of an hour- it was a new adventure for me!), went on a couple play dates, saw the chickens and goats and ate lots and lots of peaches and watermelon.

Wesley got to meet the ocean! We spent two weeks in California; one week in northern California and a week in Southern California. I consider myself so blessed to get to spend so much time in such a beautiful state. I had never spent a lot of time in Northern California and it was so beautiful and so much different then what I was used to in Southern California. I helped with a friend's wedding wedding for a week and Bobo and Wesley came along. We had so much fun crafting, hand lettering and setting up the wedding. We also got to see elephant seals up there since they are always lounging all over a certain beach near Hearst's Castle. Our whole family came up for the wedding and then we all drove down the coast to spend a week with friends in San Diego.

On our way, my Mom and I stopped to visit my uncle, cousin and grandma. As I type this I can't believe how lucky I am to have gotten to visit so much family and friends in such beautiful places. We got to hang out all night with my cousin and meet up with my grandma for lunch the next day. Katelyn and I continued on to San Diego so she could also have a vacation for a couple days. Down in San Diego, we were with great family and friends where Wesley got to walk the beach and waves a couple times (which he loved but was a little unsure of it) and run through the back yard with Napoleon and Chauncey. We basically all relaxed, stared at the beach, did some shopping, lots of jacuzzi-ing and making lots of delicious food. His new friends up north were: Norman, Suzy, Fred and Molly- oh and he met Lucky the bull which he really didn't like. His friends down south were: Chauncey and Napoleon.

We got to spend a lot of the summer back at my home. Wesley loved getting a huge backyard to run free in and play with all the new dogs around there. I loved getting to spend some great time with my family swimming, in the garden, canning, relaxing (a lot) by the pool and meeting up with friends. It really was a dream summer being home so much. Wesley wasn't a huge fan of the pool (he did fall in once and Bobo jumped in to rescue him! Thanks Bobo), but on hot days he would get to the first step or the tanning ledge. He loved all the attention he got from my family (Jimmy pretty much adopted him and Wesley followed him everywhere, where as my Dad would play with him and Wesley would always follow my Mom around the backyard and go on walks with her) and would be so tired out he would frequently put himself to bed. My family has a huge garden and I got to help my mom can a ton  (almost literally) of tomatoes! His new friends here were: Sadie, Jeffrey, Charlee (our cat which he wasn't too sure of and was always howling at her but she didn't care), Napoleon, Bowie, Ben, Lyla, Titan and Tater. Oh and he definitely gained at least 5 pounds here eating Sadie and Jeffrey's dog food that was left out.
