We went to Minot a couple weeks ago to visit our very best friends here in ND and it was bitter sweet. We had lots of puppy time (top and bottom photos), toured the Scandinavian Heritage Park (middle two photos), made homemade mozzarella cheese and just enjoyed each other's company. It is sad to not get to see them as often anymore and that they live so far away.
It is an interesting town- there is so much money being made with the oil boom but not much of it is poured back into the community so it makes it not the most welcoming (or safest) place. It was a great trip overall and we were so happy to have lots of friend time.
